Rollers dryer is a direct rotating dryer consisted of inner roller, outer roller, carrier roller, supporting device with belt, gearing, material and air entering and discharging sealing device etc.


Two rollers dryer working principles:

Dryer with two rollers is mainly to dry pellets of certain humidity and size, such as yellow sand for dry mortar industry, various sized sand for foundry industry, blast furnace slag for building and cement industry, fine granular clay, and high temperature and smoke prolusion resisting small particles free of chemical changes. According to different requirements for final moisture content, the final moisture content is below 1-0.5%. Permitted material shall be smaller than 30mm.  


Dryer with two rollers characteristics:

1. High efficiency and excellent energy saving performance: After inspected, the thermal efficiency is higher than traditional dryers by around 50%. The device has excellent coal saving performance after putting into production.

2. Reasonable technology makes high efficiency and energy saving. Heat exchanging can be achieved by radiation, convection, conduction in inner roller, and in outer roller it can be achieved by combination of convection and conduction.

3. The shorter length of machine makes for layout. The whole length is shorter than dryer with single roller by about 40%, which occupies less area and saves investment, suitable for old plant transformation.

4. Fair current drying technology is applied with wide applicable scope. It is applied to raw material drying for clay, coal, slag and iron powder etc. as well as various bulk materials for metallurgy and chemical industries. 

5. Compact structure: The whole machine is horizontally arranged, supported by carrier wheel instead of gears of different sizes. In this way, the device can be installed, operated easily and reliably. 

6. The external surface area is smaller than dryer with single roller by over 30%. In addition, the outer roller is thermal insulated to inner roller. The surface temperature of outer roller is low with less heat losses, which is not only energy-efficient but also improves working environment and condition.

7. Multiple feed plate: The combination of angular feed plate and swastika feed plate makes exchange of material thermal smoke more complete, which reduces wind tunnel in the roller.

8. Frequency control of motor speed: According to moisture content and output, the proper speed can be applied.
